Patrice Vermette

Production Designer, Art Director and Set Designer

Patrice Vermette has already been nominated for Oscars in the production design category for the films “Arrival” and “The Young Victoria”.

Interpreting scripts intuitively and emotionally, the set designer lives up to his claim of always creating something new at a high aesthetic level.

He thus created the vertical spaceship and the circular “alien language” as part of his work on “Arrival”. As art director, Vermette has worked on more than 500 commercials and music videos, including a music video for Metallica.

Vermibus

Artist and ad buster

As “ad buster”, he alters models on posters, thus contradicting expectations of the idealized body. His art is currently exhibited worldwide in galleries and at festivals.

He also holds workshops and lectures to make people aware of misguided perfectionism in society.
